CORPORATE MEMBER
Open to any Company or Organisation that carries out Commercial Diving activities in Singapore.
Commercial Diving refers to any underwater
or subsea works requiring the services of
Commercial Divers and ancillary personnel
supporting them in the conduct of
their tasks.
All Corporate Members are strictly required to
undergo and pass an audit conducted by
CDAS to fulfil the membership requirements.
ASSOCIATE MEMBER
Open to any Individual, Company, Partnership, or Other Body Corporate that does not fall under the other Membership Categories.
Or in the opinion of the Executive Committee,
is not directly associated with the Commercial
Diving Industry but has an interest in one
or more branches of the industry.
Associate Members may include those
who provide:
Auditing services
Consultancy services
Equipment supply
Medical services
Training services
Other services that support the
Commercial Diving Industry
INDIVIDUAL MEMBER
Open to any Person who satisfies the Executive Committee that meet Membership Criteria.
He or She:
Is at least 18 years of age;
Possesses a Certificate of Competency (CoC)
as an Experienced Commercial Diver or Dive
Manager, or an equivalent qualification
approved by a recognised system;
Holds other qualified or relevant experience
gained by his Executive Committee to be
relevant to such CoC;
Has been engaged in the practice of, or
associated with, a branch of the Commercial
Diving Industry, and
Has attained a degree of professional
standing within the Commercial Diving
Industry that, in the opinion of the Executive
Committee, qualifies the individual for
acceptance as an Individual Member.

Diver's Competency Cards
Dive Tender
Develop foundational diving knowledge, safety awareness, and essential operational skills to support diving activities under guided supervision. subject to applicable training, certification, medical fitness, and regulatory requirements.
Experienced Diver
Apply proven commercial diving skills with confidence, demonstrating competence, independence, and sound judgment in various diving conditions. Subject to applicable training, certification, medical fitness, and regulatory requirements.
Diving Supervisor
Responsible for planning, directing, and supervising commercial diving operations in accordance with applicable safety regulations, operational procedures, and industry standards. Subject to applicable training, certification, medical fitness, and regulatory requirements.
Professional Diver
Certifies that the holder has demonstrated the requisite competency, professional proficiency, and advanced operational capability to perform specialised diving tasks, including search and rescue operations, advanced commercial diving activities, military & special ops diving, saturation diving, mixed gas diving, and cave diving, subject to applicable training, certification, medical fitness, and regulatory requirements.
